SYMMETRIA MOCKUP LICENSES

We offer three types of licenses: Personal, Standard, and Extended Licenses.

Additionally, we may offer certain products for free or for minimal fee under the Sample License. Details for this can be found at the end of the page.

By downloading any product created by Symmetria Mockup, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our licensing terms.

PERSONAL LICENSE

Personal license is suitable for non-commercial projects only. Can be used on portfolio, personal social media account, and website for non-commercial purposes. If you or your client sells products with the mockup you/they must get the Standard License.

Number of users: 1
Personal use: Unlimited for personal projects with no financial gain.
Commercial use: NOT ALLOWED

End Product is defined as a digital or physical product that you or your client intend to sell to multiple customers. For example, if you purchase one of our vinyl mockups, incorporate your design, and use our product (as an image file) on your website to market and sell your products to a wider audience, that qualifies as an End Product.
Social Media Use: You are authorized to utilize the mockup for a single personal social media account.
Advertising: NOT ALLOWED

Restricted Use Guidelines:

Resale, Redistribution, and Sub-licensing: You are explicitly prohibited from participating in the resale, redistribution, licensing, or sub-licensing of our products, including source files. This restriction applies irrespective of whether the redistribution is free or if you have modified our product.
Identity Fraud: It is strictly prohibited for you to falsely represent yourself as the original author of any product downloaded from our website, whether it's a paid or free item. Distributing or selling our products as your own, as well as integrating them into free products, is not allowed.
Immutable Digital Assets: Users are not allowed to use any content in connection with an immutable digital asset intended for sale, such as a non-fungible token (NFT).
Unlawful or Otherwise Restricted Use: Users are prohibited from employing mockups in a manner that is pornographic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, defamatory, or in any unlawful manner that contradicts applicable regulations or industry codes. Additionally, users are not allowed to use content in projects or for clients that actively or passively work against the rights of displaced persons, individuals with disabilities, or human rights in general.

STANDARD LICENSE

The Standard license is suitable for individual designers, students, freelancers, or small record labels. This license allows the use of mockups for a single portfolio, website, social media account, and webshop on a non-exclusive basis worldwide.

Number of users: 1
Personal use: Unlimited for personal projects with no financial gain.
Commercial use: The Standard license allows the creation of End Products sold up to 5000 times. For sales exceeding this limit, an Extended License is required.

End Product is defined as a digital or physical product that you or your client intend to sell to multiple customers. For example, if you purchase one of our vinyl mockups, incorporate your design, and use our product (as an image file) on your website to market and sell your products to a wider audience, that qualifies as an End Product. However, it's crucial to be aware that exceeding 2500 units in sales, regardless of whether they involve various designs or a single design using our mockups, requires the procurement of an Extended License.

End Products must significantly differ from our original products, demonstrating expertise and unique value. Replicating the same value as our products is prohibited (creation of mere mockups), and any competition with our proprietary products is strictly forbidden.
Social Media Use: You are authorized to utilize the mockup for a single business social media account. However, if you or your client plan to employ the content across multiple accounts, obtaining either an Extended License or an additional Standard License is mandatory. For example, if you use the mockup on your personal social media account while simultaneously creating content for a client's social media account, the client must acquire an appropriate license to cover their specific usage.
Advertising: You have the right to create a maximum of 5,000 physical advertisements for either yourself or your client. Furthermore, you are permitted to generate digital advertisements with a cumulative total of up to 500,000 impressions.

This restriction applies irrespective of whether the redistribution is free or if you have modified our product.

EXTENDED LICENSE

The Extended license is suitable for larger businesses, design agencies, and record labels intending to sell higher number of products on e-commerce platforms or requiring higher advertisement rights.

Number of users: 5, all of which must work within the same company. If you demand more seats you must purchase an additional Extended License. Or contact us to customize a license suited for your needs: symmetria@blackphlegm.com.
Personal use: Unlimited for personal projects with no financial gain.
Commercial use: The Extended license allows the creation of End Products sold up to 50,000 times. Additional Extended Licenses are required for sales exceeding this limit.

For example, if you purchase one of our vinyl mockups, incorporate your design, and use our product (as an image file) on your website to market and sell your products to a wider audience, that qualifies as an End Product. However, it's crucial to be aware that exceeding 50,000 units in sales, regardless of whether they involve various designs or a single design using our mockups, requires the procurement of an additional Extended License.

End Products must significantly differ from our original products, demonstrating expertise and unique value. Replicating the same value as our products is prohibited (creation of mere mockups), and any competition with our proprietary products is strictly forbidden.
Social media use: You are allowed to use the mockup for unlimited social media accounts owned and operated by the company that holds the license.
Advertising: You are allowed to produce unlimited number of physical advertisements for yourself or your client. Additionally, you are authorized to generate unlimited digital advertisements impressions.

SAMPLE LICENSE

For personal work only. Can be used on portfolio or website for non-commercial purposes. If you or your client sells products with the mockup you must get the Standard License.

The Sample License grants you the access to download and use a compressed and stripped down sample version of the mockup. To enjoy the full resolution product or use the mockup for commercial work, please purchase the Standard License.

Any commercial use of the mockup you have downloaded under the Sample License is strictly prohibited.
